In Scripture, prophets weren't self-taught. Samuel led a company of prophets (1 Samuel 19:20). Elijah trained Elisha inside "the sons of the prophets" — an actual school, with a mentor and other students in the room (2 Kings 2:3–7). Formation came before function.
